My name is Chuck Pappas and I’m an attorney in Massachusetts. I specialize in personal injury and worker’s compensation cases.
This video is to let people know that I have written a book entitled “A Guide to Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation Claims”.
I’ve represented and helped many injured workers, so I understand that after suffering serious injuries on the job that leaves you unable to return to work, it can be a very stressful situation. You are not only dealing with your pain and injuries, but you’re also probably concerned about medical bills and worried about not being able to return to work and earn the wages you need to support yourself and your family.
The reason I wrote this book is to provide injured workers in Massachusetts with free information about workers’ compensation claims, so you don’t have to rely on what the insurance companies tell you or go through this process alone or uninformed.
This book covers the basics of workers’ compensation including the weekly disability benefits, how to calculate them and how long these benefits are available. Other topics include how medical treatment is paid for after a work accident, all about the claims process through the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents, lump sum settlements, and a host of other topics.
Another reason I wrote this book was because every time I meet with someone after they were hurt on the job, I noticed that most of them have the same questions. This is why I have dedicated a specific section in this book to answering the most frequent questions I’m asked by injured workers. This should provide you with a good starting point to understand the claims process, the benefits you may be eligible for, and what to expect and anticipate after being hurt at work.
You can order and download a free e-copy of my book right here on my website or feel free to call my office at (508) 879-3500 for a copy. If after receiving and reviewing my book you have any questions or would like to personally speak with me, feel free to pick up the phone and give me a call. I’m always happy to help.
I look forward to hearing from you and, of course, helping if you need my services.
